The Library
The library of the Orfeó Català –with its documentary and historic archive – is a private library, specializing in music and aspects related to modernism and the trajectory of the Orfeó and the Palau de la Música Catalana.

Situated on the fifth floor of Palau, The library began taking form the same date as the Fundación of the Orfeó in 1891.  Since then it has been growing with new material,  some from different collections or legacies: Francesc Pujol, Joan B. Lambert, Vicenç M. de Gibert, Joan Llongueres, Gallardo-Matheu, Josep Rodoreda, Amadeu Vives, Carles G. Vidiella, Joan Salvat, Blanca Selva, Carreras i Bulbena, Lluís Romeu, Josep A. Clavé, Pep Ventura and Juli Garreta, among others.

The library of the Orfeó Catala offers its specific uniqueness and variety of different collections that it possesses.
